Curriculum and Instruction MA Without Thesis

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is a leading research and teaching unit dedicated to understanding the complex world of teaching, learning, education programs and policies that guide education programs for the 21st century. World-class research opportunities are the basis of our work preparing both the next generation of education researchers and future teachers.

The mission about training specialists in  curriculum and instruction: To train educational curriculum and instruction specialists who have an enhanced sense of social responsibility; who internalize  and develop the values of democracy; who are  faithful to ethical values; who are secular, interrogator, researcher, productive and problem-solver; who produce knowledge about their profession and implement them; who can provide a modern and dynamic education that may be useful to their environments in any case. The mission about the field of curriculum and instruction: To conduct basic and applied researches which are original and made with a teamwork, of which standards of validity and reliability are high; which are qualified in scientific sense; which contribute to interdisciplinary, universal science and development of country;  and to publish them in national and international scientific publications which accept these researches. The mission about topics of educational sciences which society needs: Including in particular the Ministry of Education, to exchange of views with educational departments of public institutions, non-governmental organizations and private institutions and organizations dealing and to take a decisive role in determining the educational policies of these institutions; As a program primarily preferred for education-related service requests, to examine the educational issues which institutions and organizations need and the problems which they face scientifically; To organize a variety of scientific activities related to clarify employees in educational institutions about educational sciences and educational issues. To conduct theoretical and practical researches with enriched academic staff; to train specialists in educational curriculum and instruction who are qualified and self-renewing and who are preferred by students for post-graduate education;  to be a division which contributes to steering of intercultural education, national and international educational policies. For this purpose, the provincial education directorate program development specialist/assistant specialist curriculum development and assessment centers at special schools/assistant or a research assistant in the faculty of education at our university teaching staff, at all levels of the armed forces, training specialist/assistant, education department public agencies and institutions in education expert/assistant aims to educate individuals who have the qualifications to becoming. Master's degree with thesis/master's degree without thesis and distance education level education are provided in the department.
