Turkish Language Education phD

The aim of the leading to the Master's degree is to equip students with advanced and specialized knowledge in the field to help them acquire to interpret scientific events from broader and deeper perspectives and determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses. The program aims to provide the necessary human resources, environment, and teaching-learning processes in order to benefit the society. Individuals with a Master's degree with thesis, who also have a valid (at least) score on ALES (65) and s score of at least 55 on YDS (Language Proficiency Test) or an equivalent socre on an language proficiency test (must be accepted by the Inter-University Council) are eligible. In the Ph.D. program, students must successfully complete at least 36 ECTS credits in order to take the Ph. D. qualifying exam (as required by EABD/EASD Presidency. Students are also required to successfully complete "48" ECTS credits together with Project Writing Techniques I-II courses. In addition to this, they are required to successfully complete 66 ECTS credits with the Specialization Field Course and the Seminar course. After the qualifying exam, the doctorate degree is obtained within the framework of graduation conditions after the completion of a doctoral dissertation.
